I love NYNY dearly, it is a masterpiece but it's also a bit like having your emotions stuck in a tumbledryer on 'fast-spin'. And I need to work on my schedule for next year, cause I keep forgetting. And to do some prelim. scripts for the novels.

Everyday, I get on the the same bus going to work and coming back, which means I share the bus with the same people. The funny thing is, you can tell who gets the bus with me often, because they're the ones who don't jump when I cackle. And who never try to read over my shoulder; I have absolutely no qualms about reading my manga on the bus. XD

Also, I tend to quote Zim when I'm irritated. Only one person ever quotes back. ._.

But it's a lovely sweet fluffy chapter next week, yay~ While I wrestle with my scanner in an attempt to get the right scan quality. Bleh.

I came home from work today to 2 things that made me go 'Yay!'

Th first one was scaffolding around our block. That probably sounds funny, but our street are all houses in sets of four, 1 semi-detatched, then 2 terraced, then another semi-detatched. So when I say our block, I mean the set of four houses of which ours is one :) Anyway, that means that the housing people have finally pulled their finger out and decided to re-do our roof. All the other houses on the street have been done except ours, and it needs done. We have no insulation, and there are gaps between the tiles where you can poke your fingers through. So I'm really happy that we'll be having that done before winter sets in properly.

The other was a note from the Post Office saying that they had my books and would I mind coming to pick them up? Which is awesome because I have my Ciel and Avarus comics in there XD XD XD

I am currently trying to figure out how to re-bind my doujinshi. Because I just realized that there's no way I'm having that many packets of loose pages, I will lose them. This is a fact. So no more de-binding 'till I figure out how to put them back together again -_-;

I think I'll probably just put up with lower quality scans, actually. I don't want to but... my books ;_;

My manga hd died. And took all of my hoard of manga nad doujinshi with it.

Not, thank god, my translation projects; I keep those on my laptop. But I had well over 10,000 chapters on that hd, just pffcht. Gone.

This is gonna take a while to fix.

I was de-binding my HiruxSena dj today and I caught myself on the iron. Ow. I hate burns, they're such fussy injuries.

Also... whoa do I have a lot of dj o.0 Srsly, I must have over 100. I scanned 7 today, so I'll aim for 10 tomorrow and try to keep that level up... I have to say, though, trying to track down which ones have already been scanlated is a pain in the end DX

P.S. Give me mah magazines! I NEED to read the latest chapters of Flat! *slump* Aki-chaaaaan....

And I am still ill :( I'm actually gettin pretty down at the moment cause I want to do some scanlating but everytime I open Photoshop it just.... blank. Nada. So I'm pigging out on chocolate ice cream and reading my doujinshi [HiruxSena baby, yeah!] so I'll see if I can't get something done tomorrow. Maybe I'll just scan all my doujinshi, now that I've finally figured out how to do it. [I've had the scanner for 4 months already, jeeze]

And, I have a big wad of notes on all the suggestions I've been getting for next year's projects over at for_gem_box. I have, I admit, pretty much made up my mind by this point. I'm still gonna keep the post open because I want everyone who wants to to have their say. There are always curveballs!

I don't know what I have, but I don't like it. I've been comforting myself by re-reading Demian Syndrome. Can't wait for the next issue of Chara. Feb.'s issue was just squee XD

Also playing FFXII and I have to say, I love the battle system. It does mean that a lot of strategies that work in turn-based are now null and I end up having my backside handed to me more often than not ^^'

Scanlating is coming slowly, I'm afraid. I have no motivation. But I am looking into stories I could take up once I'm done with NYNY and Mainichi, so I'm not being a total slacker XD

Anyway, I think it's time for another paracetemol.

I  went on a bit of a spree today. I bought 8 PS2 games and a copy of Squee to go with my JTHM. I love payday *g* 

My family's been over the past three weeks, so I've had no scanlating time. I just managed to get Kodomo no Iibun chapter 3 out this weekend [minor miracle]. I had a look at the final chapter of NYNY volume 2, and I think I should be able to do it relatively painlessly, if you disregard the massive emotional damage ¬¬' I love the story to death, but it is definitely not all sunshine and light.

Work again tomorrow...blah. I really need to put in for shorter hours but I doubt I'd get them...buggrit.

I am so jiggered.

My holidays finished on Monday, and for the past three days I've had training over at Wellingborough. It's an hour and a half commute, there and back, and I can honestly say that I have never been so tired from doing so little.

My family is down from Scotland to visit which means my free time has been nonexistant, so I am so glad I got those five releases out eek before last, as I have no idea when I'll be able to get the next one out. 

On the up-side, my collections are coming along nicely :) I've only got eight or nine Jigen doujinshi to collect before I'm up to date, and I managed to get my hands on 'Gold Rush', which is a Tekunoroji anthology of utmost ZoLu yummyness XD

I am going to cut my doujinshi buying right down, though, as I need to fork out for a few more mundane things like clothes. Bah.

Oh well, it's nearly the end of the week...
